L2 AWARD IN MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS
Our Level 2 Award in Mental Health Awareness is the best qualification of its kind.
It is the only L2 NVQ with mental health first-aid embedded in it. This vital module gives learners key skills to help their colleagues so is especially suited to those in a working environment.
This fully online course includes a hard copy workbook and full e-learning resources so can be accessed from anywhere with an internet connection.
Our tutors not only have the necessary knowledge to deliver the course to the highest standards, they are also experienced teachers, so can help you with any additional questions. They are there to help you learn on a personal basis. We keep our webinar numbers low to deliver effective learning.
The recommended time to complete the course depends on the individual learner, but government guidelines suggest 15 hours, spread over a period to embed learning and aid reflection. Included within the total learning time are two two-hour live webinars.

Purpose:
The purpose of this qualification is to provide learners with an understanding and awareness of mental health, common mental health disorders and issues, help reduce stigma and discrimination and encourage people to talk about mental health. Furthermore, the qualification should provide learners with the ability to apply their knowledge of mental health through recognising and responding to the signs of mental ill-health in themselves and others and be able to offer mental health first aid to people experiencing mental ill-health.

- Two days face-to-face – £399
- One day face-to-face and one day online for £349
